Intensive Programme on
Multimedia and the Future Internet: Moving Social and Mobile


Who Can Apply

The Intensive Programme (IP) is targeted at students that are currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the ICT field in one of the partner universities.
In motivated cases, MSc and BSc students will also be considered.
Only students from partner universities can apply.


How to Apply

A candidate student has to fill and submit the application form (please carefully fill in both worksheets) to their local coordinator of the home institution and in cc to G.DiFatta@reading.ac.uk,

applications are no longer accepted.


A selection process will take place at each partner university to determine the successful applicants. The selection will be based on the motivations of the candidates, on their track records and on the intersection between their research interests and the themes covered by the IP.

Financial Support

Once admitted to the IP, students will be offered the following support:

  • free full board accommodation for the entire IP duration at the Cumberland Lodge, Great Park, Windsor, UK;
  • free day trip to Bletchley Park;
  • reimbursement of 90% of the documented travel expenses (airfare, train, public transportation).
